Five individuals were hurt when a shooter opened fire on the Michigan State University campus on Monday night.
Police at Michigan State University have positively identified two of the victims. The third victim’s identity was kept a secret at the family’s request.
Brian Fraser, a sophomore, was born and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
Fraser presided over the Phi Delta Theta chapter at Michigan State University.
In accordance with a statement from the Phi Delta Theta national chapter, “Brian was a great friend to his Phi Delt brothers, the Michigan State Greek community, and other people he met on school. as the chapter’s leader.”
A junior from Clawson, Michigan named Alexandria Verner identified herself as a Verner.
Verner, a graduate of Clawson High School’s 2020 graduating class, was hailed as “a superb student, athlete, and leader” in a press release from Clawson Public Schools.
She “exemplified kindness every day of her life,” the school system claimed. She was adored by everyone who knew her, and her memories will live on in each of us forever.
Verner reportedly left behind her parents and two siblings, according to the district.
